A Crystal Tamborita (also called "Crystal Drum Wand") is a crystallized tamborita that has even more magic than standard tamboritas do, as ones wielded by self-taught mid-level sorcerers like Mateo, and tamboritas of pure dark magics utilized by top-level evil sorcerers like Fiero and Ash Delgado.
The first Crystal Tamborita was first shown and utilized, if unsuccessfully, by Princess Elena in "Not Without My Magic".

- According to Quita Moz, it is much more powerful than a regular tamborita. This implies that the mystical Chispas (first seen in "Crash Course", which were then used to fully empower tamboritas wielded by Gabe and his fellow Royal Guards) within possess even greater amounts of magical energy.
- It is implied it was a regular tamborita that was thrown into the Well of Crystals in the ancient forge of Takaina. Similar to the time when the Scepter of Light's considerable boost in light-based magic, due to Princess Elena having it with her when she accidentally fell into the well.
